Alternatives welcomes our Community Partners, some of whom offer services we do not, including:
• other Front Range Safehouses
• Access Housing
• Project Safeguard
• Stout Street Clinic
• The Salud Clinic, Platte Valley Medical Center.

We work closely with nonprofits serving specialized populations, including:
• The Asian Pacific Development Center
• Colorado Anti-Violence Program (that works primarily with Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender communities)
• Domestic Violence Initiative, (specializing in working with victims of violence with disabilities).

Alternatives' staff also participates in:
• 17th Judicial District
• 17th Judicial District Domestic Violence Taskforce
• Commerce City Business and Professional Association.

New nontraditional partnerships include:
• Tri County Health
• Colorado State University Extension.

Alternatives to Family Violence participates in the Family Success in Adams County Program which incorporates over 30 service organizations designed to provide education and support for families and single individuals who have not yet entered relationships.

The Safehouse, Community Outreach & Support, and Administrative staff at Alternatives reflect the diversity of the community we serve, which allows us to treat residents and outreach clients in a holistic manner that identifies and illuminates the complicated realities of their lives, their intersection with violence, and the diverse social factors that impact their experience. Alternatives is constantly expanding programs along with traditional and non-traditional community partnerships in order to serve Safehouse residents and outreach clients by identifying and seeking to minimize the external conditions, pressures, norms, and practices that exacerbate the dangers to a battered woman.
